Salary from £46,632 to £53,888 per annum with progression based on performance 

With a strong portfolio of commercial work within the District and partnerships under the LABC PAS, we offer an excellent opportunity to further your career by joining an innovative and forward thinking Building Control Team at Team Leader.

 

You will be a qualified building control surveyor to MRICS or MCABE with significant experience within a building control service and be a full member of the RICS, CABE or CIOB with evidence of continuous professional development and demonstrate competence in handling complex cases including enforcement cases.

 

Your role will include a mix of having responsibility for an area for site inspections, managing the surveying team to ensure plan checking and site inspections targets are met and working proactively to retain and win building control work.
You should be able to think, plan and act with a creative approach to problem solving and delivery in demanding circumstances and with competing priorities.
