Surveyor Team Leader (Building Control)

£41,775 - £44,601 per annum depending on experience 

Location: The Boathouse, Wisbech with occasional travel to South Norfolk House, Long Stratton

Full time, Permanent

Other key information: £5,000 golden hello*, out of hours cover for dangerous structures

What you’ll be doing…

  • Leading, managing and mentoring our Building Control Surveyors and Trainees
  • Provide surveying services and technical support
  • Responsible for the administration and enforcement of the building regulations and associated legislation
  • Managing a portfolio of ‘partner companies’
  • Attending dangerous structures

You must have…

Full Membership of a recognised professional body such as; Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Association of Building Engineers (CABE) or Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and have a full UK (or equivalent) driving licence. You should also have experience in managing a team encompassing performance and service delivery management, as well as a proven record to implement change.
