Job Description

Salary £39,961.

  • Plus 15% market supplement (£5994.15)
  • Plus £4,000 “Golden Hello” welcome package and
  • Plus £4,000 contribution towards relocation expenses.

We are looking for a Building Control Surveyor to provide building regulation advice and guidance in a forward thinking, and customer focused environment. We are entering an exciting phase of growth and are interested in hearing from applicants with a commercial focus who are keen to develop and grow our business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join our high performing team and be responsible for delivering a full range of daily Building Control duties in a highly competitive environment.  This will include supporting the Building Control Manager in the development and implementation of our growth strategy for building control services, as well as investigating and implementing new innovative ways to grow our business.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated person, preferably qualified to RICS/CABE/IFE status or equivalent. You will be capable of delivering a first class technical service to our key client across a range fo developments from small domestic, residential and commercial projects.   You will understand the importance of developing relationships and have excellent communication, business and commercial skills with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer care whilst ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and codes of practice and  in accordance with the Building Control Performance Standards and an LABC accredited Quality Management System (QMS).

You must also have experience and understanding of the process involved in the enforcement of the Building Act 1984 relevant to Dangerous Structures, Demolitions and the current Building Regulations.
