Career Grade 8/9 £32,048 - £39,486 per annum plus lease car or cash alternative allowance

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, experienced Building Control Surveyor to join our customer focused team.

You will be an experienced practitioner holding full membership of the RICS or CABE or equivalent. Or you will be an Associate member and have worked successfully in a similar role looking for your next development opportunity.

Main duties include delivery of a customer focused service including application processing, issuing of decisions, site inspections, dealing with dangerous structures/demolitions plus promotion and development of the Service.

You would be working in one of our area teams, covering a range of domestic and commercial applications.

If you have a good knowledge of building construction and the regulations, are a good communicator and confident in making the right decisions, this could be the job for you. The post is career graded and could offer an opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in Building Control.
