Building Control Manager

Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit a Building Control Manager who will take responsibility for the Building Control function within the Planning Service.

The successful candidate will develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure that all services are carried out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, promoting the development of the Building Control function and leading to the achievement of the Service’s Business Plan, targets and performance indicators.

We are looking for someone who has extensive technical and managerial experience of Building Control within an urban authority and who can demonstrate a track record of dealing with dangerous structures and demolitions. The role is an exciting one which offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take lead responsibility for the Building Control function within the City Council.
