A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with a leading private sector building control company. You will be joining an ambitious firm that prides themselves on providing a first-class service to both commercial and residential clients.
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic building control professional to join our friendly, customer focused team. We are looking for someone who is seeking a long-term career with a leading private sector Building Control Company and who is keen to grow with the Company. Applications are invited from candidates who are part or fully qualified.
In addition, upon successful completion of the probationary period you would be eligible to join the Company’s Discretionary Performance Bonus Scheme (with generous, twice annual payments) and the Company Sick Pay Scheme. The Company also operates a discretionary Christmas / New Year Shutdown (which is workload dependent) whereupon employees are paid leave in addition to their individual holiday allowance.
Along with your professional qualifications and experience, you will bring with you enthusiasm, drive and a common sense approach to building control. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to secure repeat business and recommendations.
Candidates should have previous experience of working in a Building Control Surveyor role – either for an Approved Inspector or Local Authority – as extensive knowledge of Building Regulation requirements will be needed.
CIOB / CABE or RICS qualified however part qualified will also be considered.
We have two roles available – one based in South West London and Home Countries/m25 border, the other based in Derby. Both roles offer the option of partial homeworking throughout the week. Furthermore, we have opportunities in all of our other offices across the UK.
