Job Description

BUILDING CONTROL SURVEYOR

Derbyshire                                                                                                      Attractive Salary

It is an exciting time to be a part of Derbyshire Building Control Partnership. Established just over twelve months ago by merging the experienced, professional Building Control teams of six local councils, we are creating a forward-thinking, innovative business with ambitious but achievable plans for growth.

We have exceeded our goals during our first year and are now accelerating our development with the creation of this role which covers Derby and the Derbyshire Dales. You will become an integral part of our knowledgeable, highly-motivated team and will take responsibility for a range of interesting, varied building control projects where you will ensure the highest standards are applied. You will also contribute to the growth of our business by fostering relationships with architects, developers as well as other current and potential clients in order to gain future work.

Based within easy travelling distance of the area to be covered, you will hold or be working towards an appropriate RICS or CABE qualification and have worked successfully in a similar role. A commitment to outstanding customer service, the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, a strong commercial awareness, excellent organisation skills and a positive approach are essential personal qualities if you are going to succeed in this role.

We are offering an attractive salary and benefits package including generous holiday entitlement, flexible working and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. In addition, we are committed to supporting ongoing professional and personal development.

If you would like to be considered for this outstanding opportunity, please email your CV together with details of your salary requirements to our HR Advisor, Tim McMahon of MCM Consultants, at tim@mcmconsultants.co.uk or by clicking the APPLY NOW button.
