With responsibility for overseeing the delivery of exceptional performance, you will effectively lead and manage a regional team. Ensuring all surveyors are fully equipped (both technically and professionally) to deliver in their roles, you will be required to share your knowledge and experience whilst driving consistency and standardisation in expectations, policy, process and approach across the Group.
You will be a major contributor in successfully delivering the local business plan, in addition to: advising clients on building regulations and related matters, checking drawings, carrying out inspections, writing technical reports, mentoring and supporting training mechanisms, recruiting and managing a client base and reviewing team performance.
Applicants should possess a successful record of effectively managing teams, who can demonstrate a commitment towards a united approach and one-team ethos. As a high-performing individual, you will possess a strong academic background and positive approach, coupled with the ability to share best practice and set challenging but realistic targets. The successful candidate will be a great motivator who celebrates success but can also actively manage poor performance if required.
Chartered membership of a professional institution (MRICS, MCABE, MCIOB) and substantial post-qualification experience within a building control role is essential.
