We have been the Building Control team for iconic buildings such as the Gherkin, Scalpel, Cheesegrater and now 22 Bishopsgate. The next generation of large-scale office developments are now being planned, and we are looking for the next generation Building Control Team Leader to join us. Working with eminent designers and contractors, our projects portfolio includes some of the UK’s largest buildings, predominantly multi-million-pound office and retail developments, hotels and residential apartment blocks, incorporating leading edge innovative design solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled, competent, dynamic individual to join us as a Team Leader/Principal Building Control Officer. You must be committed to delivering a world class Building Control service in a highly competitive market. You will play an important role in ensuring that performance standards, customer satisfaction, resources, marketing and income generation are maintained within a defined area of the City to ensure the viability and standing of the City District Surveyor’s Office now and into the future. You will contribute to providing a diverse range of services including Dangerous Structures, Fire Risk Assessments, Licensing and Special and Temporary Structures. Professionally qualified and commercially aware you will have extensive professional and technical skills necessary to work within a competitive Building Control environment and be committed to building the Future City.
